At the conclusion of this presentation the learner will:
1) Identify epidemiology, pathophysiology and natural history of thoracic aortic aneurysms.
2) Distinguish the clinical presentation, diagnostic testing, imaging and work up of thoracic aortic aneurysms.
3) Differentiate surgical implications and therapies for aortic aneurysms including prognosis, potential complications, triage and indications for referral.
This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 1 hour of AAPA Category 1CME credit from the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Total number of approved credits yet to be determined.
