These courses fulfill the requirements set forth in Department of Health regulations, Prescriber Training Requirements for Best Practices
Regarding Opioid Presscribing.  All prescribers holding a Controlled SubstanceRegistration (CSR) must fulfill this specific training requrement only onceand must do so before the next renewal of their CSR (June 2019)

March 2nd topics will feature: Appropriate Prescribing, Potential for Dependence, Pharmacology, and Addiction.

March 30th topics will cover Alternatives for Opioid Pain Management: Chiropractic Care, Marijuana, Physical Therapy, and Acupuncture.

This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 4 AAPA Category 1 CME credits for each session from the AAPA Review Panel. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.
